Tis the season for festive events happening across the Grand Valley! We have some fun activities and events listed for you to consider attending during the holiday season and to get a taste of our unique town.

Fine Arts and Crafts Fair

November 17, 2023-November 19, 2023

Come and support the local art community, where there will be a variety of fantastic hand-crafted artwork and delicious cookies! This is a great opportunity to get a jump start to your Christmas shopping! 

Tree Lighting November 18, 2023

Hours: 5:00-7:00 p.m.

101 South 3rd Street, Suit 100 

Grand Junction, CO 81501

Enstrom Candies will be hosting tree lighting on Main Street. If you want to get into the Christmas season, come to Main Street and enjoy all the fun! Santa will also be there to hear the kid’s Christmas list!

Sip and Paint Thursday

3572 G Rd, Palisade, CO 81526

Hours: 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Every second Thursday of the month, go to Carboy Winery at Mt. Garfield Estate. You will enjoy some painting and wine! You will be shown and walked through the painting process while experiencing local wine. All supplies and a class of wine are included in the $35 admission.

Hours: Wednesday and Thursdays 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday 4:00-9:00p.m., Saturday 4:00-10:00p.m., Sunday 1:00-5:00p.m.

Experience the wonderful spirits and cocktails created at Highlands Distillery! You can purchase one of their handcrafted spirits, enjoy their signature holiday drinks, and eat tasty food! This is a magical place to lay back and treat your taste buds!

Parade of Lights

Starts at 5:00p.m

The annual Parade of Lights is a cherished tradition and fun for all ages! A perfect way to enjoy the holiday cheer and do some Christmas shopping downtown Main Street! Parking will be limited due to the parade on Main Street, so be sure to plan ahead to find parking. The parking garage on 4th and Rood or at Enstrom’s will be the closest spots. This year’s theme will be Jurassic Park!
